Rebel Without a Cause
Rebel Without a Cause consisted of confused teenagers, and bad parents. The Staircase scene of the movie, I feel, is a good example of the movies moral theme. The Father of Jim is less of a man then his wife, and in the scene he is degraded and attacked by Jim. Jim just committed a jail sentenced worthy crime, and he was the only one out of his family that was morally sain. He wanted to turn himself in, his mother wanted to solve the problem the same way that always do, move away, and the father spoke empty meaningles words of sympathy. This scene is important because it confronts the fathers lack of man, and Jim’s rightous sence justic. Jim attacks his dad toward the end of the scene, he tries to tell his dad to stop doing chores that his mother should be doing, and by the end of the scene his father reolizes his flaw.
